Objective for award

The objective of the ICPA Award is to recognize and honour individuals and institutions that demonstrate excellence, integrity, and innovation in the finance profession. The award aims to celebrate those who exemplify professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to driving positive change within academic and professional spheres.
Aligned with ICPA’s vision of empowering finance professionals as strategic leaders, the award seeks to:

Selection Methodology

The selection process for the ICPA Award is designed to uphold the highest standards of objectivity, transparency, and professional excellence. The evaluation is structured around a comprehensive and data-driven methodology that ensures fair and consistent assessment of all participating organizations.

1. Questionnaire-Based Assessment

A structured questionnaire has been developed to collect detailed information on the financial practices, cost management strategies, governance standards, and overall performance of participating companies. The questionnaire focuses on both qualitative and quantitative aspects of financial excellence, innovation, and ethical practice.

2. Independent Evaluation Agency

An independent and reputed credit rating agency has been engaged to design the questionnaire and carry out the evaluation process. The agency is responsible for ensuring that the data collection, analysis, and scoring are conducted with neutrality and rigor, in line with industry benchmarks.

3. Formation of Screening Committee

To maintain alignment with ICPA’s objective s and values, a Screening Committee has been constituted by the Institute. The Committee comprises experienced finance professionals and subject matter experts who provide oversight and strategic guidance to the evaluating agency.

Their role includes:
• Assisting in the formulation of evaluation policy
• Ensuring the relevance and clarity of the questionnaire
• Reviewing and endorsing the evaluation framework

4. Evaluation and Shortlisting

The evaluating agency assesses the submissions based on predefined parameters, including innovation in financial practices, leadership in cost management, sustainability of outcomes, and alignment with ethical standards. Based on these assessments, top-performing organizations are shortlisted. , the ICPA Core team will also use its own research to get further information to verify and evaluate the nominations

5. Final Review and Approval

The final list of awardees is reviewed and approved by the Screening Committee in consultation with the evaluating agency. In select cases, additional clarifications or documentation may be sought to ensure accuracy and completeness.

6. Recognition and Knowledge Sharing

Award winners are formally recognized at the ICPA Awards Ceremony. Highlights of their best practices may be shared across platforms to inspire wider adoption of excellence in financial management.

Presentation of Awards

The national awards were presented by Hon’ble Ministers and Members of Parliament during a widely publicized gala ceremony held in New Delhi. The event was graced by a distinguished gathering of corporate leaders and professionals from various sectors.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • ICPA Awards is an initiative and the exclusive property of its organizers.
  • To participate in the Individual and Corporate Awards, participants must complete the registration process on the official program website (www.icpa.co.in) or via the link shared with them through email.
  • Following the announcement of the awards categories for Individual and Corporate, it is mandatory for the awardees to be Life Members of ICPA.

General Guidelines:

  1. Entries will be accepted only through the online mode.
  2. Please complete the nomination form available at www.icpa.co.in. After filling in the form, download it and ensure that both you and your nominating authority/reporting head sign it in the appropriate places. Then, upload the duly signed PDF version of the form at www.icpa.co.in.”

 

  1. All information required in the Nomination Form must be provided accurately and complete details.
  2. The Screening Committee reserves the right to reject any nomination without assigning any reason.
  3. The Jury has the final authority to decide based on other credentials and performance.
  4. All information and data submitted by the participant(s) will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of award evaluation, and not for any other purpose
