CA (Dr.) A. B. L. Srivastava is a distinguished Chartered Accountant, finance professional, arbitrator, independent director, project management expert, and former senior executive in the Government Power Sector. He has over four decades of rich professional experience spanning financial management, corporate governance, project finance, power sector management, arbitration, dispute resolution, and public sector administration.

He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and holds M.Com. from Kanpur University, Master of Business Finance (MBF) from the Indian Institute of Finance, and a Ph.D. in Domestic/International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution. He has also successfully completed the IICA Certified Mediator Programme. In 2013, he obtained IPMA Level A, the highest certification from the International Project Management Association, and is stated to be the only individual in India with a financial background to receive this certification.

During his distinguished career, Dr. Srivastava served as Whole-Time Director of NHPC Limited, including an 18-month tenure as Chairman & Managing Director. He also served as Managing Director of NHDC Limited and held non-executive/directorial positions on the boards of PTC India Limited, PTC India Financial Services Limited, Loktak Downstream Hydroelectric Corporation Limited, and REC Power Distribution Company. Earlier, he held senior finance positions at Rural Electrification Corporation Limited and Uttar Pradesh Financial Corporation.

Dr. Srivastava is actively associated with leading institutions in arbitration and dispute resolution and has served as an Arbitrator with organisations including the Delhi International Arbitration Centre, Indian International Arbitration Centre, International Energy Arbitration Centre, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indian Council of Arbitration, SCOPE, and Construction Industry Arbitration Council.

He has also been associated with several professional and non-profit organisations, including the International Hydro Association, SCOPE, and ICAI Accounting Research Foundation. He has contributed articles and papers on hydropower economics, ERP implementation, project finance, asset management, and financial management to various professional journals and international conferences.
