CS Shashi Shekhar is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi and has completed several specialized certification courses from ICSI, including those on FEMA, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Goods and Services Tax (GST), Commercial Contract Management, ESG Analysis, and Related Party Transactions, among others.

Mr. Shekhar is a Partner at M/s Arora Shekhar and Company, Practicing Company Secretaries. He has extensive experience working with Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and has played a pivotal role in obtaining NBFC licenses, facilitating takeovers, listing debt securities, and overseeing conversions of NBFCs into NBFC-MFIs.

He has advised a diverse range of clients on business structuring in India and provided comprehensive consultancy on Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) compliances, including inbound and outbound investments.
